Tire sizes

i have an 04 G and I was wondering if a 235/45/18 would fit on the front as opposed to the OEM 225/45/18

He has OEM 18s they're 8" wide! Not 19s or 20s....?

Since you have the '04 OEM wheels you can use/run 245/45X18 both back
and front, that makes a very stable combo without any issues of rubbing. I
really disliked have 225s on my front end....

You can go up by 10, 225 to 235 is fine.

You can mess up your VDC doing that, if you upset the standard stagger. I did that on my car, and the VDC kept kicking in braking the front left tire when I took mild curves, causing the tail to kick out.

245/40-18 will work better, as it's closer to the stock rolling size. That's what I'm running right now on my fronts.
