Yes they do. I just put one on & the front feels tighter & more balanced...especially over bumpy roads.Originally Posted by Gdirtyfive55
Why? Strut bars don't do anything.

All in yer head. strut bars are completely useless unless they are connected in a triangle to your firewall. That is proven.
Any factory car that uses a strut tower brace for chassis bracing will have it connected to the firewall. Old mustangs did this. MS3s do this as well.

Haha that's all good. It's a cool decoration. Just saying, for anyone who wants it to actually work you gotta get the 3 point. I found one somewhere with a rear brace too, but it was like $800.Originally Posted by ronnieballgame

Strut bars have to do something since this is what my last one looked like: https://g35driver.com/forums/6720115-post1912.html

Obviously it twists with the chassis, it has to if you put it in that position. That doesn't mean it braces the chassis tho. You need it to lay up against another solid side. Twisting it will break it too. In fact more so (probably) than putting direct pressure on it.

Don't get an underdrive pulley. Get a stock sized lightweight. Not worth the risk of undercharging your alternator. Besides, 85% of gains on underdrive pulleys comes from the weight reduction. 15% of 5hp is 0.75hp. Won't notice the diffOriginally Posted by rdavis

So I just bought my 2004 g35 coupe and I have no idea where to even start, but I am definitely trying to mod it to improve it's style/performance. Any tips on where to start?
