If you also upgrade to the larger TB and a 3.5" intake the kinetix manifold can make more power but you need to do all 3 or you will still have a point of restriction.
OK I hear alot of good about the tb and the intake but you have any proof that that combo does make a difference in connection with the kinetix
I'm sure you can google up dyno results of people that use an admin tuning intake + 75mm tb both with and without the kinetix. I don't have a master list of dyno'd parts handy if that's what you're asking.
Also any upgrades like this will REQUIRE a tune to make actual power. Running off the base tune you might get half the horsepower gains if you're lucky, or the car might not even run if you're unlucky.

Exhaust on a budget...
I’ve been lurking on the forums for a few months now but haven’t posted anything myself, but I really need advice. I’ve had my g for about a month or 2 now and I really, really hate the stock exhaust. I want something loud, but not anything that’ll blow my ears off. Unfortunalely though, I am utterly broke and don’t have 2 dimes to rub together... If anyone has any ideas on cheap ways to improve the sound of my g, I’m all ears. I was planning to buy a cheap ebay exhaust but decided against it after reading up on it, but now I think I’m out of options. Any help would be great! Thanks!
Honestly the only budget piece that's not going to sound like crap or give drone is swapping out the midpipe for the coupe mid. It's not going to make LOUD however. If you're willing to take the time to swap out components you CAN make a decent sounding exhaust that won't drone you to death by piecing in a resonator into an HKS rep exhaust if you have a coupe without RAS.
You should definitely be looking around for a quality pre-owned exhaust though. You live in a big city so that shouldn't be a problem.

Obviously reading comprehension > you 2 lolol.

Honestly power mods for the G are a waste of time unless you're planning on dumping $1000 for ~30 whp. Drop it and put some sway bars on, and when you do your valve covers for the leaking oil put in a used plenum spacer (which size depends on what motor you have do some searching) and an MREV2 if you have revup. I'm going to add some used HFC next time I need exhaust work since that's also one which produces real gains.
So its been about 23 days since i've purchased the power tune performance chip and i must say that theres definitely some changes to how the G operates. I can tell that my exhaust sounds more aggressive, the g drives alot smoother, and it does feel faster. For these reasons, i've decided to keep the chip along with any other mods i do next. In my honest opinion, it was well worth the money for what i paid for it despite what anyone else says or thinks.
it's only boosting throttle input if anything..

It's always best to hear it in person, if you can head to a local car meet or something.
u don't need to hear it in person, the Gemeni is great!!
I picked up a stock 2006 G35 coupe 6MT with 70k miles in January, 2019 and is my daily driver. I have been reading through all the mod debates and advise threads. Unfortunately, most of these threads are more than 10 years old. So I wanted to ask all the people who are currently modifying their G35 6MTs now or have already went through all the bolt on mods for advise on my G35 build plan.
So far, I have added an oil catch can, Injen CAI, BC Racing true coilovers front and rear, and just ordered Aodhan DS02 wheels 19x11 rear and 19x9.5 front. I know the wheels are reps but I don't have the money for "real" wheels right now, I would rather spend the extra money on performance mods and get better wheels later. I want to keep my car NA and do not want to go forced induction for now. Money is not a big problem, but at the same time, I want quality mods for reasonable prices and don't want to have to upgrade my mods again by going cheap in the beginning. The goal is to have a reliable G35 with some decent power and exhaust note. I plan to take my G35 to the track for drifting/autocross once every couple of months and still daily drive it. My plans in order of next mods:
1. Motordyne Iso Thermal 5/16 Plenum Spacer 2. Motordyne MREV2 3. Headers??? 4. Motordyne Shockwave TDX2 Catback Exhaust System 5. Motordyne ART Test Pipes 6. Hotchkis Adjustable Stabilizer Sway Bars 7. Soul Function Front Strut Tower Bar 8. Mishimoto Oil Cooler Kit 9. Dyno Tune with Uprev Osiris Tune 10. Cosmetic mods - New front bumper, side skirts, duckbill trunk...
I plan to get the plenum spacer and MREV2 together and the shockwave and ART pipes together. I am not sure if headers are worth it and if I do get headers, I have read about everyone either paying $350-$600 for install only or spending 5-7hours installing at home. Also, I'm not sure if I should get shorty headers or longtube. If I get longtube headers, I would not be able to get ART pipes. Will my stock headers be restricting the Motordyne Art pipes and exhaust? I read some threads about possible Morotdyne headers? My question is your thoughts on my plan and if there is any other mods I should be considering. Thanks.
