You need a tune, Osiris or Cobb. Throwing breather mods on with the relearning ECU isn't going to do much since its always adjusting to make the car run more economically.

If your talking about plenum spacers, the 5/16 will give you more mid-range power while the 1/2 will benefit more at higher RPM's, I haven't researched the 3/8. The spacers work better when used in conjunction with other breather mods.

Actually when looking at the dyno for each one, the 1/2" and 5/16" spacers look to be about the same except the 1/2" gives you more at the end which is good for you if you have the 05 or 06 rev-up motor b/c redline is around 7k and the 5/16" seems to die out at the end wear as the 1/2" does not.

I think by the dyno's I would say the 1/2" is better but everyone else says that the 5/16" gives you more usable hp and tq, but by the dyno done by Motordyne themselves, you can see the results for yourself, it looks like the 1/2" gives you the same low end but a little more all the way to redline, you just will not be able to use a factory strut bar, which my G did not have one to begin with. If I were to get one I would just have to get one that is a little taller or maybe use spacers.

I am not saying I know it is better but by the testing done by motordyne on a non-revup it looks like the 1/2" is the way to go, I am not sure the difference it would be on a rev-up.

I want the 1/2" spacer but I don't wanna buy a strut bar and then not fit. Is the engine cover able to be used with a 1/2" spacer?

I have heard ppl say both ways, yes and no. I am thinking it might but it would be tight, you could always cut it or get a 350z cover, then you polish your upper plenum and it would look nice.

hey guys i need help on deciding to go with the intake manifold? kinetix or motordyne, also can you get them both?? i know that the motordyne mrev2 is the lower plenum and was wondering if you can use it conjoined with the kinetix intake manifold and the motordyne 1/2 inch spacers. Also there are skunk 2 plenum spacers on the market now, any dyno sheets including the skunk 2? And are those dyno sheets with just the lower plenum and gaskets or the whole kit? Thank you all , I will appreciate the feedback.

Brakes

nvm guys did some research and the velocity handle both lower and upper plenum and also eliminates the neccesity to have a plenum spacer which is cool, however do you have to go aftermarket on the intake? I really like my z tube. After getting the kinetix intake manifold (Velocity) i will get stillen headers (Outperforms nismo's R Tune by 3-4 horses and ft/lbs of torque and maybe hks hi power exhuast, UTEC turbo xs engine management system, maybe kinetix hfc's and then a greatttt TUnee!!!!!!!!!!! prolly run me close to 4 or 5 depending on labor but will be wel worth the price, then you can always add a vortech and retune to get super numbers, being careful to keep the hp under 400-450 or so , hopes this helps anyone, let me know what you guys think.
