when i first had the car, i used to see song names, artists, messages on my radio. now it doesn't come out.

for people living in SoCal.....u guys get anything from power 106 or kiis fm?

 

yea i "hardly" get it on my coupe now too. Maybe system updates? i dunno all i know is that on Hot 97.1FM here in NYC it reads (all day every day) "JAY-Z - DIRT OFF YOUR SHOULDERS"
lol im feelin like a pimp, so (everytime i step in the G) i go on and brush my shoulders off....
AND i always remember..."ladies is pimps too"

haha i noticed that too, i think it's been dirt off your shoulder for a good 2 weeks now. i don't know if you get wired 96.5 up in the city but that station barely ever has any titles on it. power 105 usually has them although the only song they ever play is that new juvenile crap. z100 works except all they play is jojo or that britney spears song..

thats why i pretty much always have a cd playing or the whole thing off so i can listen to my engine...hehe

yea power is usually working well with the titles and stuff and z100 plays too much britney ALTHOUGH - her song "Everytime" makes me wanna have sex with her even more. If i could have her naked in front of me singing that song - i'd be in glory - i dunno she just sounds so sexy singing that song - ANYWAY lol - same here i either have one of my 6 cds playing - lol OR even better i roll down the windows, shut the radio and listen to the vroooooooooom ahh its just perfect especially ona day like today wahoooooo!

anyone had their's just show nothing? like a blank screen? I mean when you turn to the channel, it would show the station, and then blank.. I thought that it might be the tint that is causing the problem

i heard a techno remix of that song the other day on ktu - haha it's even worse when it's to a fast dance track...speaking of ktu, what the hell happened to them? i havent heard a good techno/dance song in months and they usually have all the new stuff, now it's just crap that i've never even heard of and they dont even play anything remotely recent like from the past two years anymore either. also they used to be "ktu - the beat of new york" and now the other day i hear "ktu - the beat of brooklyn".....what the hell is that all about? maybe since they've moved (i guess) to bklyn they've gone a little soft on us

oh well, z100 is good for just relaxing, power is good for the new rap, wired96.5 is for the old school hip hop and some new rap, hot97 is for the funk flex hour haha, and pst is pretty much the same at z100..

i don't know if you get wired or pst up in the city since they're from philly but i get them here in central jersey...i havent been to the city in a few months, went to bubba gump on new years - awesome restaurant, i can't wait to go back

Well I know with the Satellite radio if you press "RPT," the artist name, song name, or channel name is displayed.

Don't know if pressing that does the same for regular radio though, might wanna give it a shot.

 

i flipped thru some other radio stations that i dont listen to very much, and the names and songs come out, so i guess it's just the stations these days... darn.

 

I think its only an option with the Satelitte radio?

 

I live in Chicago and get it

 

In Jax, FL all the ClearChannel owned stations have the RDS working.
