Hi, in several forums, I've seen some passing comments about a power tilt and telescope steering wheel as an option for the 2005 G35. I'm not sure if it referred to the Coupe or Sedan.

Has anyone else seen this?

Regards,

Dan.

from the preliminary order sheet, they are a part of the premium package for both sedan and coupe for 05's.

According to the 2005 G35 Model Guide from Grubbs Infiniti, the Premium Package includes "Power Tilt and Telescopic Steering".

So yes, it looks like that will be part of the premium package.

Re: 2005 G35 Tilt and Telescope Steering Wheel?
Leave it to Infiniti to give us an option that I personally would never use as I am the only driver of my car and never touch the steering wheel position. How about a height adjustment for the passenger seat so that the passenger doesn't feel like they are sitting in the basement? Or an adjustment on the seat belt so that we don't get strangled by the belt around our neck? Well, let's just wait and see what they come up with. In the mean time.. it's a great car and a great bang for the buck! Love my car..

bocatrip--- if the position of the steering wheel isn't to your liking, then it can be adjusted. I think this option is great.

he's sayin it doesn't need to be adjusted because he's the only person who will be driving the car.

That's what telescoping means... The steering wheel can move toward or away from you.

Re: 2005 G35 Tilt and Telescope Steering Wheel?
it will be the same system the fx currently has....

when you remove the key from the car, and open the door, the wheel will telescope in, and the dashpod will raise.....

the reverse will occur when the car is started...

im not sure if the seat will slide back/forth to aid in/egress though.... (think it will, since the motor technology is already inplace....)
