Of course it will cost less at repair shop instead of dealership.

Best advice, try and get a used compressor, will cost you half or maybe less what your asking. Or just take it to the repair shop and let them recharge it first, maybe they were just trying to rip money off of you. They do that a lot. You take your car for a oil change, next thing you know your whole car needs to be repaired...lol

true. car dealers are like slaughterhouses, they will not let your car out without having you spend hundreds of dollars.
