Please help me decide

Guys...I'm officially gonna buy a G!!

now...I'm stuck between two cars...

1) 2005 6mt with nav, 18inch wheels, 70k miles for about 17k, and I will get a $1500 100,000 mile warranty....needs some work (a little bit of rust on rear panel, needs alignment, headlight needs restoration)

2) 2007 6mt , 19inch rays, 50k miles for 21.5k, still under factory warranty (is this a big buying point? what are the things I Should get done under factory warranty? any free inspections?) OB, looks great except some rock chips on hood...

both drive fine...
what would you do guys? after financing, it's about $110 difference a month, I can either just enjoy the 07 and the factory warranty, or get the 05 and factor in the 110 a month, and use that money to make the car a little more perfect...

help me out, this is gonna be within the next few days!!

Kevin

Since you'll essentially be spending the same amount, go for option #2. From what you've described, it needs no work and is almost immaculate. You also get a newer, lower mileage car. "Don't fix what's not broken," and by going for option #1 you'll be spending a bit here and there and it will add up. Who knows, it might have issues you're not even aware about.

It's kind of common sense, no?

id go with the 07, the 05 seems overpriced maybe a little for that high of miles and needing that kind of maintenance (just sounds like it wasn't taken care of as much)

yeah, get the 07. It's got all the cool goodies vs the 05 such as front projectors and the intelligent key. Plus you've got the sport package if you're not into modding at all or right away, at least you've got good looking wheels and a firmer suspension. Price on the 05 is high for the amount of miles. You don't want to be dealing with a car that already has rust damage either.

you know whats odd actually is you might get that rust fixed under warranty on the 05. Doesn't infiniti have a 7 year unlimited mile warranty against rust?

#2 the first one sounds like it may not have been taken care of very well.

alright guys...thanks for the input...

there is no doubt in my mind that I want the 07 now...

can someone point in the direction of SEARCHING for possible problems with the 07 g35's?? I read about the oil leaking in near the spark plugs, what else is there??? I wanna take advantage of that factory warranty as much as possible.

thanks!!

Kevin
