You guys really need to stop fighting, its just your own damn opinions. As for me, if I had the opportunity to go with the m3 over the STi or G35, I'd do it in a heart beat. You can't compare them to our cars, total different league IMO.

id ont think anyones opinion is wrong in here. the M3 is in a different category but also what dirty D says is right too. doesnt seem like hes hating on m3s and yeah you guys do make it seem likes its the god of sports cars of today im happy with the g35 its good enough for me. Damn skippy! The only performance mod you can buy for the M3 that "alegedly" gains 90HP is a $20,000 Hamann S/C. Sorry, no chip! Personally, I think that it would be quicker and cheaper to just go buy a grenede and just throw it into the engine bay with the hood closed.

Then again you could buy the "GISMO" for ~$60 and gain ~5hp [img]/w3timages/icons/tongue.gif[/img].

 

sorry guy, but BMW is considered a status symbol. see the way a status symbol works is one, it shows ur "status", which would be the person is rich, so a m3 would tell other people along wit benz and all the other expensive cars, that u got money cuz u drive it. thats y its a status symbol, and if u disagree wit that, then i dont know wat kind of brownies u been eating

I don't understand why so many people care about beating an M3 in what I understand to be a drag race. It truly is a testament to BMW and its M division, that so many topics concern beating an M3.

Back to the original poster, if its a stock E46, FI baby! An E36 would not require such mods unless it is turbo'd itself.
