Update!

 

Just bought an 06 g35x. On my way to work I saw the Passenger Air Bag light flash in my center display so I came onto the forum to check it out. I then went to my manual and learned a few things. 1. There is a pressure sensor on the seat cushion to trigger the air bag on and off under some conditions. 2. The seatbelt when buckled and enough weight applied will trigger the Air bag on. 3. If there is not enough weight on the seat, the Air bag will trigger off for child safety purposes. 4. If there was a malfunction, the the supplemental air bag warning light would blink in the meter and gauges area.

I had my lunch bag and book bag on the seat which most likely triggered the warning light in my center display. This is the first time its happened since i got the car a month ago so we'll see what happens when I drive home today.

This car is awsome, but there are a lot of things to still learn. Check the manual!!!!

 

They should just recall all years. I brought my 03 in & they supposedly fixed the connector but now I get intermittent airbag lights. It wasn't like that before. Now they want to charge $150 to look at it & possibly $500-$600 to fix it.....something doesn't seem right
