I got pulled over the other night for touching the middle line once.. This is the only time ive ever gotten mad about getting pulled over because it was obvious that she just used that as an excuse and just felt like finding something to give me a ticket on, but of course since i didnt do anything she regretfully just let me go

 

first off, im a volunteer firefighter, so cops are a little bit more respectful to me... but heres my story anyways

well i got pulled over once because somebody was going ****ing slow as **** on a 2 way road (speed limit 30mph) so i sped up to around 45 mph and went around them. i didnt know that the cop was about 200 feet behind me so he pulled me over. he walks up to my car, asks me what fire department im a member of... and then he proceeded to compliment my car. he told me he wasnt going to give me a ticket but he was going to talk to my chief. as he was walking away from the car he says "youve got a nice car, but keep it on the racetrack"

 

I give props to cops for doing their job. Personally, I like to know that people aren't going to try and kill me... every day. As far as using of your time AND giving you a ticket.. that sucks. Hopefully, in the future, he will remember you and let you slide next time while speeding or worse.

 

i'm a soon to be police officer there is nothing wrong with asking of trying to befriend someone for having a nice car but simply said if the laws been broken we have to cite you or give you a warning.... but usually if we call it in we have to cite you a citation. everything we do is recorded

 

I've been pulled over by cops just to check out my car I was driving to work on the opposite lane and cop see's my ride does a u-turn and flashes his lights, Im like wtf what now? (just thinking it of course lol) Then he asks me for license and etc.. so I give him my license but I couldn't find my registration so I start looking for it and then the cop asks me a bunch of quest. about my car and he tells me "You have exactly what I want" I was like well you should buy one you wont regret it! He says: " Yeah ALL my friends tell me that" so in the end I still couldn't find the damn reg. paper then he tells me dont worry about it, I stopped you for your tint but since I want tint on my car when I get it then I dont want to be a hipocrite so he let me go FTW!!!

 

hes charging me 550 but hes also fixing a crack I had by my side marker.

 

I live in East Hanover but was pulled over in Roseland.
