He might even be fast enough to challenge the one I get paid to fly also...at least until I retract the gear and flaps after takeoff.

I am on the evo forum. Actually, on multiple evo forums. I'm also on honda-tech, my350z, and a bunch of other forums. Doesn't mean I have to stay stuck on one forum.

I no longer have a G35, but point is, I did own one ('05 G35 Coupe).

I'm just gonna stop going off topic here and once again tell the OP to pick whatever car he desires because they're both great.

Decision has been made... i bought one...

Black, 08 G37s, 6MT, Bose, 17000 miles

I literally signed papers and had to drive straight to work. But the drive was fun. Itll take me a bit to get used to the gearing compared to my 14 yrs of Honda driving... also the one thing ive noticed is a little more vibration coming from shifter whereas my Honda had no vibration at all, so it got me a little worried at first drive.

But the car is absolutely georgous and im hoping that I dont regret buying a used car

That vibration is because it's a rear wheel drive car.. your shifter goes straight into the transmission on a RWD car, whereas a front wheel drive car is connected to the tranny by a linkage. The linkage separates you a bit from the tranny and absorbs some of the vibes. That being said... G's are known for having somewhat notchy trannys in comparison to other RWD cars too.

Congratulations on your new car!

Quote: ^^ I personally have met 3 girls who drive manual G35s (one of which actually tracked it) and 4 girls who drive manual 350z. I have seen many many more guys drive automatics. So?

What the hell does that prove?

I've came accross a few girls as well driving manual coupes... Just came next to modded g35 coupe manual 2 days ago at the lights... Saw a girl driving with a guy beside her... maybe her boyfriend

I was at my Infiniti dealer today getting the side-impact airbag recall done on my 04 6MT G35 Coupe, and I waited in the waiting room for the job to finish for about an hour and 20 minutes. Had a good LONG look at the G37, and there is no question that from the outside, the G35 Coupe is much MUCH better looking in stock form than a G37 Coupe.

The interior on the G37's is a lot nicer though. They had a convertible G37 there too.. didn't really like it.

37 has a better engine. If you look aftermarket for engine performance, you will see that your dollar per HP will go farther with the 37. Great choice.
