As much as i love them and have been wanting one, im starting to get a little nervous about them. Im reading quite a few things about people complaining about all the things that are going wrong with them. Thats one of the things i cant complain about with my 14 years of driving Hondas.

Some of you guys have me nervous lol

Get a 37. Whole different animal. Way better car. 35s are starting to be like civics. There affordable. So there everywhere.

There's problems with all cars. Every car some type of issue. There machines. Not one is perfect. I'm sure there were some kinks in your Hondas. I came from driving vws. The most problematic cars in the world. And I still love em. Lol

I'd like to have the G37 engine in the G35 body. I prefer the 06 interior and overall exterior. Where the nav is situation in the G37 with the vents, it looks out of place to me.

That said, I had a chance to drive a stock 135i this weekend...that thing was much faster than my G. Seats are significantly better and shifts are much shorter. The interior is kind of boring but I could forget about it when the turbos kicked in lol. Too bad it's about 20K more than my G is worth, otherwise I'd be selling haha.

This is the easiest decision anyone could make. G37 hands down. It dominates the G35 in every category.

Would you rather have sex with Farrah Fawcett or Megan Fox???

Yes Farrah was hot, but that sh*t is dated.

The more I look around, i dont know if i can swing getting a G37. And as said, I dont know if i'd be happy with a G35 knowing that the 37's are out there (even though i do think theyre sexy)

I'm seriously of just thinking about keeping my Si and dropping a turbo in it for a couple grand.

Have you considered other cars? Like a Vette? C6 is a very capable car for a decent price.

I was in the same boat as the OP and I went with the G35. I loved them since 2003 and the new G37 just never won me over in the same way. I could afford a G37 but bought the last year of the G35.

All comes down to personal preference. Don't let us tell you what to get... you decide.

I seriously considered, and I think I actually prefer its interior but I couldn't push myself to drive an auto.

Sorry Lexus, but this is one customer you did lose when you opted not to make a manual tranny for your 3.5.

To the OP don't forget to look at 370z's. For some reason not the most photogenic car, but I love them more every time i see one in person.

Edit: also don't forget my car. Lol the 2007g35 sedan is the best deal on a G IMO. All the pro's of a g37 with a nice price tag. Plus if u don't already know the sedans are actually a bit faster then the coupes. 2007g35Sedan=37coupe when it comes to speed.

My bro has a 08 37 coupe 6mt, I have a 06 G35 coupe 6mt.

Automatic = G37
Manual = G35

The manual gearbox in the G37 makes it tough to drive in a daily basis.
The G37 auto gearbox is super.

The G37 is definately faster stock for stock, but the car also feels heavier and less agile.
The G35, you have more mods. Put in some Mrev2+plenum spacers, you are as fast as a G37 stock. Put in some exotic speed exhaust like me, it's already faster than the 37. This is confirmed with my bro.

However, G37 has rear camera, intelligence key on manual, cruiser control with speed sensors + the newer looks. I'd say if you're not gonna do anything to your car, get a 37. If you want to mod it out, go for the 35.
