Well, u can't say that. Everything has it time but it also depend on how people take care of their cars. Eventually G37 will become cheaper after a few years...
Ok, back to the topic, I like the body of a G35, sexyyy..

The 37 is nice because I rarely see them on the road and almost never see a modded one. G35s are everywhere. Drive by any high school and I promise you will see at least 20 of them in the parking lot.

I had a G35 for 4 years before I got my G37 so I really know both sides. I hated my G35, it was constant problems every single month. It was truely a piece of crap and something was always breaking. I was so beyond happy when I got rid of it. The interior was horribly dated, I mean they come with a f*cking casette deck in them . My G37 has been nothing short of amazing, no issues at all. (I bought both cars used with under 10k on them)

The 37 looks great after a kit IMO... before it, the roundness of it throws me off where the 35 is aggressive looking stock. Itll come down to 3 options for me...

a) find an 07 G35 and have some extra $$ to put into it

b) get an 08 G37S and have to leave it stock for a while

c) keep the Si and drop money into it and make a killer 4 banger

^^^ Except it will sound like a 4 banger..... (I had a supercharged RSX before my G35, loved the quickness, hated the sound)

If you get a G35 you better keep that extra $$ because you will need it to fix the constant problems.

You can pick up a lip for the G37 for 300 dollars (or cheaper used)or trade someone for a non sport bumper for free. (I actually perfer the non sport bumper over the sport)

Journey Bumper

The AutoKits X front lip comes in FG and CF and is really cheap. It is a very popular option for the G37. Really all you need is a lip, paint the front grill, paint the rims, and springs.... you really transform the car. All for under 600 dollars.

But my far you spend 90% of your time inside the car, not looking at the outside.

Would you pefer this??

Yeah, the interior of the 37 is 100 times better lol... the 35 does look pretty old school when compared side by side. Everyday is different... one day i lean more towards the 35 and then today i lean more towards the 37. I drive my wife crazy... she just says to find one and buy one already lol

Go on the G37 forums. There are several members like me who use to own a G35 previously. In 2 years I have never once seen anyone say they perfered their G35 over their G37.

Alot of G35 guys will say they dont like the G37, only because they dont have one to truely compare. I cannot list even one thing about my G35 that I liked more than my G37.
-Better interior
-Better engine
-Better brakes
-Better looks
-Better warranty
-Better navi
-Better rims
-Better stereo
-Better seats
-Back up camera
-Push button start
-No cassette deck
-Comes with right side fluid cover
-Comes with hood shocks

This. Over my budget though!

But lets be realistic. Despite the G37 being a 'second generation' per say, it would be foolish to say it won't eventually have problems, it's just too early to tell. How many problems did people in 03 have vs those in 07? I've even heard rumor the oil consumption exists in the new G37 engines...**** never ends! Just pick the one you like to look at the most, it will be its only saving grace LOL

Pffft. I don't need luxury. Racing seats ftw...

But to the OP. Get the G37 over the G35. Racing interiors aside, the G37 has the G35 beat. When the G37 first came out, the exterior took some getting used to. But after seeing the lip kits available and seeing people mod them. That car is seriously sexy.

I agree with that for the most part except for the part about the Looks, and the Brakes.

G35, hands down in terms of looks over G37. G35 Coupes with Brembo are pretty awesome IMO and stack up pretty well compared to the G37 brakes, especially considering that they have the nice gold Brembo paint scheme(purely aesthetics) and the car is 200+ pounds lighter(less weight to stop).

Not plastic. It is actually a high gloss piano lacquer. It looks stunning in person.
