I'd replace the exhaust and intake to stock. Dealer probably won't notice the other mods and definately won't notice the Cobb.
If the exhaust is pretty mild, they might not notice that either. It's pretty well established that these engines have had oil problems.
The important thing is to at least bring it in before your warranty is up.

I went through this when I had my 03 5AT coupe. It was burning 3 quarts per 1000 miles, and the dealership initially denied me a new engine due to bolt on mods (intake, plenum). I filed a BBB complaint, with the argument that these are the same mods that multiple Nissan and Infiniti dealerships are selling across Southern California. So they would have to acknowledge that their own merchandise can and will lead to oil consumption.
I got a new engine after that.
I like this argument... I am definitely seeing some ammo for my cause here. What still sucks is that I am about 700 miles away from my warranty running out. After the test I will be 300 miles over my warranty. I am going to ask the dealership to put it in writing that they will fix the problem after the test (if there is a problem) since I have discovered the test prior to the 70k mile warranty.
I got a new engine after that.

So I took my car to the dealership and the gal in charge of my issue ignored my mods. Aparently the TSB doesnt apply to my car because my car is an AT... sucks. Since my car is so close to the 70K mile warranty I will just run the test after 600 miles and bring it back in before 70K miles... so the only problem is she is wondering where my oil change records are which are basically non existent. Anyone have this issue and still get a new engine? what did you do to compensate for the lack of Oil change records? she said its pertinent to getting my car fixed...

My first G35 was a 2003 5AT. So not only was it not a 05-07 revup, it also was not a 6MT. So the dealership initially fought me on the idea that a 03 5AT would even consume oil. But their own tests showed the 3 quarts per 1000 miles.
Maybe if you have receipts from when you purchased the oil that would help.
Usually if dealers fix an issue, you have another year warranty on that specific issue. So if you get a new engine/short block, really check how the oil levels go over the next 12 months. I sold my 03 coupe to my mother in law 2 years ago, and whenever I check the oil level it's completely full now. They gave me a new short block.

NO WHERE IN THE TSB DOES IT MENTION ANYTHING ABOUT OIL CHANGE RECEIPTS.
I cant believe you guys are letting the dealerships screw with you so bad. Quit pu55y footing around and print out the TSB and bring it with you and ask them where it says that. All theyre doing is jerking you around.
My car is currently having the motor replaced this week at the dealership, I didnt run into a single problem thru my whole process of testing.

My previous owner had the long block replaced prior my purchase at a dealership. I think you can probably get a new engine as the date should be based on the initial occurance date. What I hate the most is that how do we know the new engine wouldn't have oil consumption again after say 20k miles and I am completely out of warrenty. It just makes us wanna sell the car before it happens if ever again...
