I live about 45 mins north of Scranton in Binghamton,NY. The roads in general suck. Drive back and forth a few times a month. I81 can be a minefield of potholes. I'm driving my G now with all the snow, get a good set of winter tires and you'll be set... unless you have never driven in snow before.

Yeah, I'm outside of Philadelphia myself. The roads are ***.. I sold my bike due to it. Only roads you can safely ride on anymore are toll roads.
Other than that I really don't mind the weather change, we pretty much get the best of each season. Hot summers and cold winters. Just watch for potholes and don't expect PennDot to do much road maintenance.

I'm in the lehigh valley and i agree with everyone else. I'm runnin Tein S techs with an N1 lip and still haven't bent one of my axis rims or scraped the front. Just have to be ready to swerve all the time, and only take known non-pothole routes when you learn them lol. I run General Exclaim UHP's all the way around and they are good in a few inches of snow but not more than that. Its enough to get me home when in starts snowing, but also a good excuse to stay there and have friends drive me around haha. I'd def say get a beater truck if you plan on really keepin your G cherry. I used to live in arizona and i'm still not used to PA weather.
