jwt popcharger help!

i installed a jwt popcharger and z tube and it sounds great! but it seems like the car doesnt feel like i gained any power at all. i know on these d.e motors intakes dont make much power but it feels like i lost some power. i was talking to a couple buddys and doing some research and it says for these motors cai is best for the motor. just want other opinions on this before i get a cai thankz

reset the ECU, either leave the negative cable unplugged over night or do the pedal combos. try again and see if it feels better.

+1.... ECU reset will help but you really shouldn't expect to feel any gains.

+2 on the ECU reset.

The Z tube + JWT Pop Charger is the is one of the better mods for enhancing the sound without loosing any power.

For the performance aspect of it, dyno proven, the best is Z tube + stock airbox with K&N drop-in filter for our NA engines.

Heat soak......................................it's a b!tch.

CAI will be no better than the pop. Stock box with a quality drop in filter is still your best bet for power but won't give you the sound benefit. Your best 2 choices if you want better sound would be the Stillen or R2C intakes. LOTS of information on this subject in the Intake and Exhaust forum. Spend some time reading through it.

Resetting the ECU just reverts it to the original settings, which if I understand correctly is the most aggressive. Your car will sense the difference in airflow, and adjust accordingly, hopefully netting in a boost in performance, but probably not much with a JWT.

popcharger heat soaks and doesnt really even give power unless its high rpms. and CAI will lose power too. save your money and buy TPs or md spacer instead.
