Infiniti Dealer Quote
wowzers, I don't know about the G, but I replaced the rear wheel bearing/hub assembly on my 98 honda civic in less than 20 mins. As long as you dont have RAS it should be a pretty simple job, see if there is anything in the DIY section. Good luck!
Typical stealership charges, if you can't diy find a independent brake/alignment shop in your neighborhood. You should be able to cut that price in half! Gotta love Infiniti service....

rear wheel bearings arent all that fun on the Gs. fronts are way easier. but yeah, dealers have high rates. mine is $97/hr. but it helps to know people who work at the dealer so you can get the same work for way less

I'm not surprised. Dealer quoted me almost $400 to fix the infamous axle click. $6 for a tube of grease and 2 hours of my time was all it took for me to do it myself.
I had my rear wheel about to fall off, the entire bearing/hub assembly was destroyed, so i took it to my mechanic and the part itself was about 110, and then he charged me 220 for his work, but he said it literally took him like 3-4 hours to do it, which I believe because he has to press fit the wheel bearing and it's a bitch to take off and put on. he's an extremely honest mechanic so look for under 500 if you know the mechanic, dealership will always overcharge im not sure why you're confused...
EDIT: just realized you needed BOTH wheel hubs changed? how is that possible? in that case 800 seems decent, though it'll end up with 900 after tax which is a little high i'd say, but again its a dealership.
