1. turned ign. to on & waited (only) 3 seconds. just 'on', not started!
2. floored and released gas/p 5 times within 5 secs.
3. waited 7 secs then floored gas/p for 10 secs at which time the check engine light blinks
4. release gas/p
5. floor and hold gas/p for 10 secs.
6. your done.
Is this correct? Have any of you done this already???
Would the car work better with mods afterwards???
What am I suppose to notice?

Will really not be too much of a difference.. Yes I have done it several times and take it easy on the gas pedal for the first few hundred miles.. I was pretty hard on mine the last time I reset it and I calculated my MPG halfway through and it dropped from around 21ish to 16ish.. Needless to say I reset it again, ahah.

Oh ok. Thanks. Because it seems odd to me I drive under normal conditions and get just a bit over 110miles a tank. Once I filled it up entirely and got 195miles on that tank and I was driving the whole time from 50mph to 70mph. Not downshifting, braking slowly... Something is definitely wrong here =( Maintenance always done properly. The tank lasts me about 8 days and I do not drive that much. We use 95 octane here. We only have diesel, 91 octane and 95 octane here. I always use 95 octane, which I am not sure what that would equal to gas in other parts of the world... lol. Point is. I feel the car consumes a lot as well. Not sure if this is how the car should work or consume. Anyway, hopefully resetting the ECU might work for that...

bigger wheels = decreased mpg
all your mods = altered air/fuel ratios = decreased mpg
any increase in power takes more fuel = decreased power
you see where im going with this rite...but 110 miles per tank is hella low though...and especially on 95 octane...wish we had 95 octane up here in washington state.
