bhp, hp, crank hp are all the same, it's hp from the crankshaft which all cars are described from manufacturer, dealerships and advertisement.

A G35 coupe is rated 280 crank hp. ..Which is 224 WHP stock, from the rear wheels by using the dyno.

330 WHP is equivalent to 412 crank hp, ..that's from 280 hp from naturally aspirated mods which is next to impossible without force induction and a good tune.

I was actually talking about 330 crank.

A camshaft with valve springs upgrade and a good tune.... can do 330 crank and maybe 13.6-7 1/4 mile ET.

A fenderwell intake (cold air) and exhaust breathing, even with high lift rocker arms and throttle body enlargement will never do it (a 50 hp increase, from 280 hp).

Go with a supercharger it will give you that quick initial torque that will put a smile in your face. It is also more forgiving with the transmission compared to a turbo. But it all depends on how much boost you could put without detonation / knock. But turbo is the best, specially if you can tune your ECU yourself (w/c is the best / fun part of modding).

Put a turbo and live happy. This is what every car enthusiast experience after a force induction install. Tuning the ECU is almost like playing a PC game, it's fun and very interesting. Once you tune you could do it in any kind of car model, the principle is all the same.

What do you think?

Injen short ram Intake with ( air power tube and heatshield ), Apexi WS2 3" exhaust, DC sport racing headers, MD ISO Thermal Plenum spacer 5/16", Stillen Grounding cables, NGK iridum IX spark plugs, MD ART pipes and a good custom tune. Any thoughts on possible hp crank results? +325hp crank?

Any thoughts?

headers aren't worth the money, especially with install.

Hehe, too late, already have them installed =)
I bought the car with the intake, headers and exhaust. I am adding and correcting. Trying to balance with what I have. =) Any thought on the crank? Guesstimations? lol. Just curious. Off course one thing will be what we are guessing and the other what the dyno shows. Since I have yet not added the tune, I was wondering what the results might be and asking the more experienced members which own or have worked on G35s with the DE engine.

mods are fine and all but it will boil down to you're tune and tuner...is he going to push the limit or make a safe reliable tune ..i have all the same mods except instead of a plenum spacer i have a whole different plenum and my tune is at 275 whp....which should be around 344 bhp if i go by thiefgarrett's calculations...i believe its whp x 1.25. but remember hp isnt everything......

Interesting. Which tune is best suggested for these sort of results?

Even with the 5A/T?

there are othe piggy back systems you can use but osiris is flashed right onto the main ecu of your car, it is controlled thru the cruise controls on the steering wheel...plus its specifically for nissans.....now go and get that damn tune and enjoy your car like its meant to be mang.
