K&N intake worth it?
K&N intake worth it?
Im in the market for an intake and was thinking of going with a stillen ztube/jwt pop charger combo for $170 shipped but I found this listing on craigslist for a K&N short ram intake for $120. I looked on the K&N site and it looks like this is for the sedan. My silly question is wouldnt this still work for a coupe still and is it worth $120?

The Stillen Z-Tube is a good idea, a much better idea than the pop charger is Stillen's CAI. It's made of 3" composite plastic so you won't have issues with heat soak which severely cuts HP in warm weather. That's what I use for my backup....

Don't waste your money on either if you're looking primarily for the performance gain...dyno tests have proven it's not there. Infiniti already did a great job with the oem intake. Your best bet is to go with a Z tube and drop in k&n filter. All these pop-chargers, cai's, and other versions of aftermarket intakes do nothing for our cars, but make the engine bay look prettier and louder. Do your homework, save a few bucks!
