Seat Belts Reset ANYONE?

The SeatBelts are locked very stiff wont move. This happens after an accident does anyone know how to reset the module or is there a way to fix them? i found this company who resets them for you for $60 each but i have to send them out somewhere in Georgia i could do that but i have to idea how to even remove them! Thanks again anything helps!

I was going to buy one that was locked after an accident. After finding out that you cant i just left it alone. Just get a new one.

I'd be safe and go with brand new seatbelts - seatbelts is the single most important safety device and I wouldn't skimp out on something as vital as this. Shell out the cash or let the car sit, don't jeopardize you or your passengers' lives.

they can't be just reset because when they lock, they are usually "fired" into place. Like when an airbag goes off. To reset them you actually have to replace the charge that fires. It sets appropriate tension to work with the airbags.

+1 . Never take a short cut when it comes to your safety.

Work with a reputable junk yard to get everything you need first ie: seatbelts, airbags, etc. Then send the module out to clear the crash codes. You wont find anyone on here that will advise you on how to reset the airbag module. I sourced front seat belts for a customer with locked belts recently and they were about $150 each. If you need an airbag, fee free to PM me as I have one sitting in my closet collecting dust!
