G35 and Snow!?

You'd better pray that they are Blizzak tires or other winter-specific tires. If they are all-season, or summer tires.... you don't have a prayer with them in snow. 275's are also extremely wide tires for snow driving. Usually people try to put a more narrow tire on for the snow(at least when it comes to driving on roads) so you get more pressure per unit of tire surface area and it will dig into the snow/slush and get down to the pavement beneath it rather than just slopping around on top of the layer of sludge on the road.

You'll need winter tires for the G to work in the snow....
Go minus 3 (17") unless you have a BBK...
With rims and tires, it's still cheaper than 20" winters.
Edit: I guess that's too drastic for a single trip.... I would bring a different vehicle instead.

I got 225s, winters. Blizzacks up front and Dunlops in the back. Ive had no problems, and its super fun to turn off traction control!

Without snow tires these rwd cars suck in the snow. I should know, I got stuck in 2'' of snow with my summer tires up a slight grade on the way to Reno. After a quickie the snow let up for a minute leaving me just enough time to fish tail up the hill. I'll never do that again (driving in the snow I mean).
