One thing I forgot to mention, is with my 04 I did suffer from very bad oil consumption issues. I was losing about 1qt per 1k miles. I was fortunate to have this issue taken care of by the dealer while I was still under warranty. I know there were a lot of members suffering from this back when I was too....

I bought my 04 5AT coupe this past June with 56K miles and it runs great. I'd say go for it if it's what you want.

i bought my 04 a few months ago. 1 previous owner (older fellow). in perfect shape, mostly highway mileage. motor runs extremely smooth. 76,xxx miles when i got her.
