new tail light overlays
Here are my new tail light overlays. I had a graphics shop make them up for me. The colors are a pretty close match and it looks really good IMO. I got the idea for them from NFS2 Underground So, what do you guys think?

Very cool. It would be a great match for the headlight mod that I've seen- I think clearcorners.com has it for some big bucks- where they paint the headlight assemblies body color.
I wouldn't do this to my car, but it makes yours look like it was chiseled out of a solid block of metal. I likey!

Not to bust your bubble.....but,
Ok...so my brother in law is an attorney....and I was looking at some auto accident cases in one of his publications.....
A word of caution.....there was a case file about a pending lawsuit from a traffic accident.
The main point was US Goverment mandated, DOT required... orange turn signals & reflectors in front & red in rear.
The person at fault had a "Fast & Furious" type modded auto. The point of the lawsuit was that the insurance company denied paying the claim since the driver had modified his turn signals, headlights/taillights, and they did not meet legal DOT requirements! The plaintif says they were confused by the lights...as they know that all US cars must have.....
That would suck big ones!
Something to consider.....Insurance Companies look for any loopholes possible.

Very clean job, but it detracts from the uniqueness of the G35 taillights in my opinion. I think Bat's GTR style smoked overlays are the way to go on the coupe. Nevertheless, it is very unique and I agree with gspotter that it makes your car look like it was chiseled out of a solid block of metal.
