HI, my 2006 G35 has the exhibited same issue along with the vinyl inserts in the in the rear panels starting to come unglued and the driver's seat foam starting to degrade, I posted the issue on Facebook and got a response from Infiniti, so they are going to take a look at the issue. I've set a schedule with my dealer so they can send the info back to corporate. Well see how it goes.

Please keep us posted as so few owners have gotten anywhere with Infiniti Consumer Affairs. They are very polite when they record your complaint, but the blatant denial of the claim is quite common.

The best start always seems to be the Better Business Bureau. Infiniti does not want complaints THAT ARE FILED and must answer every single one of them. It's very easy to file a complaint. There are so many owners that have the cracking issues, even those that don't know they have them! I can go in a number of aquaintances of G35s and point out the cracks, but don't want to make them feel badly about their cars. BBB and file a complaint for starters. Infiniti wants our cars to get old fast so warranty complaints slow and go away.

Yep, finally heard back from them, they said they are not covering it because its out of warranty, so I'm going to be blasting about the quality of the materials on their fb page until they do something. I think we as a group, need to let future buyers know that Infiniti doesn't care that they are pushing a luxury brand with subpar materials.

I agree with you, here's the page: http://www.facebook.com/InfinitiQualityIssues. Lets get those pics up there and let people know that infiniti doesn't care about their buyers.

I forgot to mention how much it costs to replace the parts:

Replace the Dash: $1977.65
Replace rear quarter panels: $1909.34
Replace the Driver's Side Seat Bottom (seat cushion material is degrading): $2675.07

Total: $6562.06

Can we get this link somewhere where there will be more exposure so that more G35 owners will see it? I'm not real tech Savy, but how many people actually know this facebook page exists?

I just started the page yesterday, but if there are enough people that go to the page and post pics, comments, etc. about the issue they are having with their cars, I can start pushing the page. Infiniti Consumer affairs is aware that I have started this, I just need more people to put in their two cents. Right now, with me just complaining, they could really care less. But if I get some more posts, I'll keep blasting the infiniti facebook page, its car show season, and they are unveiling a lot of new cars, so people are going to their pages, and the last thing they want is us letting people know that the quality is not on par with what they are portraying.

Yup, that's me, infiniti consumer affairs called me and said there's no recall for the cracked dash, the car's out of warranty and that they weren't aware that there was an issue with the dash cracking. So I'm making them aware of the problem.
