im not sure what the number under my mileage is for? does anyone know?

and you actually have two trip readings, A and B. if you press the small **** coming out of the gauge cluster it will flip back and fourth between the two reading. if you hold it down it will reset the trip reading back to zero for whichever one you are on whether it be A or B

a. which i use to keep track of gas mileage

and

b. which i use to keep track of oil change mileage easier

gl with you new car and hope you enjoy it. snap some pics for us some time so we can see what you started with

That's a good idea. I already use A to keep up with mileage, but never thought about a good use for B.

Learn something new everyday! haha. I Didnt even know about this and tbh i was scared to push that small **** lol

This is what I DID. Now I have B tracking the miles on my new engine since my engine swap.

I pressed the button and my car took off like a rocket....my vision was blurred and it looked like one of the race scenes from Fast and Furious. Scared the hell out of me. I must have a different model than you guys.

Mine has a and b and also a rpm shift light. You can set it at whatever rpms you want.

hahahaha i wanted to be the ***hole to flame this guy but then i realized he didn't really know. and even apologized for his ignorance. so i had to give him his credit and a honest answer lol
