What would you do keep the g35 or upgrade to a g37 ?!?
Hi guys i have a 05 g35 paid with 90K miles with few mods Ztube - K&N air filter-Megan Resonated TpS -HKs replica w/ magnaflow xpipe -06 headlights -06 sport bumper -pioneer Z1 double din - clifford with remote start alarm- Full LEd inside and out, everything else stock. Still run strong but only getting like 260 Miles per tank driving normal and aggressive sometimes mostly city driving .
If you guys had my car and 10K cash would you upgrade to a g37S 2008 or 2009 maybe ? Should i sell it or keep it i like both cars but idk wether i should spend the cash i got on mine or if it would be better to sell mine for maybe like 12k and with that cash buy a used g37s with <40K or something like that.
Here are some of the ones i found that i like:

The last one is not Sport but has decent price for the year n miles i think.
So what you guys think keep g35 n modded it or sell and upgrade to a g37?

Your G35 has lots of life left in it, you've spend a decent chunk of money on it, and you enjoy it.
Keep it!

My daily driver is a 2004 G35 coupe. My wife's is a 2009 G37x sedan (premium). While some of the gimmicks in the G37 are nice (rearview camera, hard drive music box, music from CF card, memory seats), in the end, if both are sitting in the garage and I need to go somewhere alone, I'll walk past the G37 every time...well not during the first couple of weeks we owned the G37, but every week since the "new" wore off, I have no interest in the G37.
Infiniti really cheaped out on the leather on the steering wheels on the G37's. The one in my G35 is much nicer. This one really bugs me, because the steering wheel is the thing a driver touches the most.
Then there's the "paid for" aspect to consider. Maintained properly, you'll likely get another 7-10 years out of your G35 if you want. You can build a pretty sizable financial cushion over that time if you simply continue driving the car you already have. So what if it's worth nothing when you're finished?

Depends on your criteria for it being "worth it"
Finances: it is never worth it to sell your car and start on a new one. You automatically are paying the spread between trade-in and retail NADA. Or when you sell yours you could lose out on the spread again if it's two separate transactions.. And you are putting $10K more into a depreciating asset by upgrading.
Future repairs: As long as you are not going solely off of dealership pricing it will always be cheaper to repair and keep your current vehicle. $5K repair on an $10K car still makes sense. That can be $5K for another 100K miles. And $5K repair will be much cheaper than a new car note. We don't own mercs or benzes so our engines aren't $20K to replace. (never own out of warranty, trade-in!)
Mods: You clearly are going to mod your next vehicle. By selling your current car, even with part-out, you are realizing a solid 50% loss on the current mods because they can't go over to the G37. Then you will mod the next car and spend money on that.
Hos: They don't care if you have a G35 or G37. They'd rather you have a BMW 328i or a merc C250
Lesson: Learn to love what you've got, makes life more fulfilling. Now go wash and wax!

I would never sell my G only to upgrade to a G37. The difference isn't extreme enough to justify the huge monetary sum necessary to facilitate the upgrade. The G37 is pretty much a much more mechanically sound car across the board, but I favor the looks of a G35 Coupe to that of a G37 Coupe.
If I were to spend a bunch of money to upgrade to some other car, it would have to be a severe upgrade of some sort... most likely performance, and I'm talking about in the range of 400+ HP. The new Mustang GT is probably about the only car that falls into the "affordable" price range of upgrade options that would put me in that category while working with a proven platform (I hate those new Camaros and Dodge Challengers... they're all big boat-like pigs).

Thx for the helpful answer that's what i think myself sometimes .I think that it may not be worth it since i already have a few thousand invested in this one,but when i see it in the streets i kind of want it lol.And after thinking about it i think im gonna keep it for the time being and keep modding it since i already started . Im thinking new suspension coil-over some rims and a maybe a full body kit. What u guys think? and my car is almsot hitting 90K should i change the trans oil im not sure if it was ever done? but i read some people trans go after a year that they change the trans oil. So should i change it or leave it alone?
