What are you talking about? Of course an aftermarket intake will replace your stock intake lolz. But there are better options then a spectre. Which is complete **** btw...

Rather than wasting your $$ on trash that will just cause you issues just buy a Z-Tube from Stillen 1-800-889-9043 then go to a quality Auto parts store and pick up a K&N drop in filter! That's all you'll ever need for better filtering and a cool sound....Gary

Z tube(got mine for 19.99) off ebay(original nissan part) and a drop in filter, I picked apexi and its been great. Don't buy any intake for your G as they all don't produce any horsepower.

 

That's right hologram....^....unless you buy the right intake it will cost you major HP. Buying the right one combined with a few other breather mods and an Osiris tune will get you noticeable HP increases! How many threads have we read complaining about the quality of eBay purchases? Don't do it....Gary

Yep the short ram. Cold air intakes dont do so well with our cars.

 

Not true....^....Stillens CAI is what you might call a short ram cause it stops where the OE air box was located. I keep one just as a spare. It's made of composit plastic so there's zero heat soak unlike the pop chargers or intakes with aluminum pipe. Cold air intakes do make a difference once you complete the other breather mods and they sound soooo good!
