Does the US G35C = JPN 350GT? (could be a very stupid question)

So, the plan is:
Jan
1.) de-badge, tint, front plate adapter, and just get used to the friggin' thing.
March
2.) skyline badge, 350gt badge, skyline rear plate frame, skyline kickplates, *considering* new fenders:

May
3.) *contemplating* flashing the ECU, K&N filter, Stillen Exhaust
Not that I won't be happy w/ the car stock, but if I'm gonna do anything to it, those are the things.

Replacing the Infiniti badge is a possibility, but the car has an Infiniti clock and infiniti logos all over inside...I don't plan on changing those, and I actually prefer the look of the Infiniti logo over the Nissan one, so why add a badge I truthfully don't like the look of? De-badging the car is a given, I don't like "Infiniti" spelled out on the back, for some reason...maybe the redundency of a logo *and* the name of the logo underneath? The re-badge is just an added touch.
Grill-wise, I might consider changing it in the future, but not necessarily to a JDM grill. the set that goes along w/ the vented fenders (I linked to earlier) is nice...there's another one (Impul, I think, it's on Bulletproof Auto's site, the shiny gunmetal one) that looks VERY stylish, w/out being to "racing" oriented. I might go for that one when I get the cash up...which won't be for a while, since tires will soon become a concern.
