Hey all,

I'm thinking about matching up the Z-tube with a HKS Super Mega Flow intake filter. From what I've read so far, the MAF housing is going to be the main contact point with the filter. If that's correct, what is the inlet diameter of the MAF housing? The inlet options for the filter are 70mm, 80mm, and 100mm. If I would have to guess, I'd say the 80mm is the best choice but I don't feel like forking up the cash on something I'm not absolutely sure about.

Done quite a few searches but I can't find what I'm looking for so I'm sure you guys can help. Thanks in advance.

Chris

I believe the MAF housing's outside diameter is 76.3mm or 3". Not sure if that what you were looking for...

Thanks guys. Yeah krewboy, that's what I was looking for...my next question is how I'm going to fit either a 70mm or 80mm filter to it...does anyone know anything about a flange or adapter that would work? I'm curious to see how the other intakes are fitted.

livinglegend, yeah I could have found that out but I'm not really fond of taking it apart because I haven't fully understood the system yet to start fiddling around with it.
