Ichiba is actually good quality. their hubcentric rings are very precise, so it says SOMETHING about their product. But you do not need more than 25mm. u must have the OEM 18s?

Ichiba

An in house brand spacer

I'm also in the process of doing a hardness test on their lug studs vs. OEM

Yeah, the spacers are the only thing Ichiba makes that's worth a damn. I did read somewhere that the studs are slightly softer than OEM and its very important to stay at 80-90ft lbs when tightening the lugs. I use a torque wrench every time I tighten them.

And yes, I have OEM 18s. How did you sur mise that from my want of slightly bigger spacers? Haha

May be true. Lets wait on the numbers. I'm hoping not.

Nope, you have regular.

Revup was only on 05-07 Coupe 6MT and 05-06 Sedan 6MT. All Automatic trans had regular VQ35DE (ie non-revup).

That's what it was rated at in 2003, but it was also rated at 270 ft/lb or torque where the revup was rated at 260. Torque is actually what launches your car. Horsepower is unimportant at best.

Now here's the confusing part: the way HP is rated actually changed for 2005 so there's no real way to tell if there actually was a HP gain or TQ drop. Basically, there's no point in worrying about it. All Gs are created virtually equal speed/power wise.

thats where it gets interesting. on 2nd gear highway pulls i always beat my friend's 04 5at (keep in mind that intake is the only bolt on we both have). and also, another friend's 04 5at (that has exhaust, intake, plenum spacer, pulleys, test pipes and remap (tune)), now u would expect him to beat me in a fair far distance, but it doesnt happen.

What's also interesting is there is a thing called driver error and allllll the specs for all the years have the same 0-60. Also, do you have a 6mt? I would not expect an AT to beat a 6mt.

06 5at gear ratios are different than 04 5at for 1st thru 3rd. So a 4th gear dyno pull will put out the same HP rating, but 2nd gear highway pulls will see a little difference in acceleration.

Also, unless my FSM copy is wrong, the 06 coupe 5at came with the 3.5 rear diff, so that would be the biggest difference since most AT's have 3.3 rear gears.

You really notice the 3.5 in 2nd gear pull. At 5000+ Rpm it's climbing high in speed.
