Coupe Random Little Question Thread

MUCH better. No bump steer, no bouncing off the seat over pavement joints. Very controlled and stiff enough to remind you that it is not stock.
Yours will sit lower on the Sportlines than mine, but where I had the height of the D2 is identical to where the 350z Eibach Pro/Bilstein sit at. It is obviously lower than stock, not slammed..functionally lower.
I can't say enough about it.

Question for the thread,
I've been having a miserable experience with my brakes lately. Have an 07 G Coupe, 18 inch oem rims, stock brakes, pretty much stock everything at the moment.
In August 2015, my front left brake pad wore all the way down, so I decided what the hell and got all 4 brakes replaced including the calipers and I believe rotors.
Starting in about October, my both my front and rear brakes starting SCREECHING so bad, its embarrassing. I have been to multiple shops and have had the brakes reconfigured a few times, and replaced the entire brake set up in the left rear tire (the one that squeaked the most) but I'm still getting a ton of noise from the front right tire.
Any suggestions??

No, just OEM calipers. Heres a couple of pics. In the second pic, thats the newest replacement pads/rotor/calipers in December and look how rusted its become already! is this normal??
Also, does anyone of any suggestions of big brake kits under $700??

As far as the squealing, mine did that when I mistakenly tossed the OEM brake pad shims thinking the ones built onto the pads were good enough. Bought brand new shims (at the crazy price of $50) and have never had a problem since. Just make sure everything is lubed up properly. Another possible fix is to hit the back of the pad with some anti-squeal coating. That helped me temporarily for a few months, but new OEM shims were the only thing that stopped it permanently.
I also got really bad squealing when I removed that rubber piece off the end of the caliper slide pins. I had a stuck caliper and it turned out that the anti-rattle rubber had swollen due to improper lubricant. I removed it and had to drive around for a few days before the rebuild kit arrived, and holy moly the brakes were noisy!

But then there's the part of me that thinks you're just trolling this guy lol.

Timing chains a big issue with the DE? I know we have an interference engine, and after learning the timing belt broke off on my sister's Passat which had an interference (dont know if it's still good yet), I'm a little worried about my engine going south for stupid reasons. I'm at 116,000 miles. No rattle at all, so I'm sure the chain guides are still good.

You sure you don't want a giant dice or a skull or a cobra head? Or anything else you can buy in the Walmart auto accessories aisle? I'd show you mine (its pretty sweet), but I'm getting a footprint gas pedal installed so its in the shop.
