Correct, it is well known to be very poor quality, but it is multi stage.

I found the paint info for G37s. I dont have the G35 info on hand, but it is similar.

Hopefully the DuPont I'm having mine painted with takes a bit more abuse.

With proper prep and skilled painter, you should be very pleased with the outcome. Looking forward to pictures.

I have the very best in Calgary, nice part of being in the business. I've never worked with him directly, but I've seen his work.

I have to ask what clear he's going to be using, I'm tempted to buy my own products, but I don't want him using something he isn't familiar with.

Paint durability went down when makers had to switch to water based paints. By now, it should have improved.

Yeah, I don't like water based anything. Solvent all the way.

Well... Aparently shell car washes double as paint strippers! Thanks Infiniti, you're making me regret buying this car more and more.

I've never seen that happen before. I would be willing to bet that your front bumper had a cheap respray done prior to you purchasing it.

I actually have known the old owner since he bought the car new, this is all original paint.

Regret is that you made bad choices where you got your G washed!

You should be blaming yourself for running your G35 thru some chicken **** car wash that uses brushes! Don't blame the car, it's the drivers fault!

It was a touchless, but ok. That's all that was open and the car was covered in salt.

If a car can't take a expensive touchless carwash... Well it's garbage.
