Canada is cool as hell. Loved it there. Not sure why everyone here likes to rag on them lol.

I can get a front bumper painted by a reputable painter with PPG paint for 250. Prepped, primed, sanded primer, color coat, and layers of clear. They'll even cut and buff if needed.

Materials alone are over $100 for just a bumper, plus labor is around $80 per hour. It takes more than 2 hours of labor to prep and paint. Maybe $250 if you remove the bumper yourself and prep it for them. A proper job easily can run $350-400.

I always remove the bumper myself. I get quotes of $250 for a front bumper, $150-200 for side skirts. Not out of the ordinary at least for me.

Call BS all you want, it won't affect the prices I get on things.

The shop I go to will charge more if you ask them to fit/install for you. They'll charge a good amount more if your pieces are fiberglass.

Are they doing a whole body spray? Why are the emblems still on the trunk?

No matter how bad your paint, just remember this: at least you aren't driving a Hyundai Genesis.

I swear those cars are cheap Korean clones... I couldn't tell that car across from mine was a genesis until I got up close.

Anyway, the grass is always greener.
