I don't know where you go for paint, but if you're paying a lot more than 300 for a front bumper repaint, you're getting ripped.
I can get a front bumper painted by a reputable painter with PPG paint for 250. Prepped, primed, sanded primer, color coat, and layers of clear. They'll even cut and buff if needed.

Materials alone are over $100 for just a bumper, plus labor is around $80 per hour. It takes more than 2 hours of labor to prep and paint. Maybe $250 if you remove the bumper yourself and prep it for them. A proper job easily can run $350-400.

I always remove the bumper myself. I get quotes of $250 for a front bumper, $150-200 for side skirts. Not out of the ordinary at least for me.
Call BS all you want, it won't affect the prices I get on things.

Haha those cars look a lot like G35s but its a really cheap version of one. The car just came out a few years ago and they're already having chrome, paint and plastics problems. It was just a joke in response to everyone complaining about their paint.
Anyway, the grass is always greener.
