funny noises from the coupe

i have an 03 coupe w/premium teh front edn makes a loud roaring i guess when thre is weight on teh left side the more weight the louder the noise. if i turn left no noise if i turn right loud noise. rumbling i guess. thought it was the tires thats what teh deal said form fethering on the fronts. put on the volks 19 gtc's toyo t1s tires. same noise dealer tried to say it was tires why woudl it only do it when turning right. and when i just put new tires and still making the same noise? any ideas the service guy seemed like an idiot so any help here would be great they said they will replase teh wheel bearings thats the only thing i can think of the faster i go the louder it gets esp. when making a right turn. checked teh brembos there fine new tires anyone got a clue?

I have exactly the same problem with my 2004 5AT coupe and its Michelin Pilot Sports. There is a loud roar from the right front tire, only when turning right, and it's louder at higher speeds. In my case, though, the inside of the right front tire is noticeably more worn than the outside, so I've assumed that it's the cause of the noise. When I had it evaluated at the dealer, the tech barely even acknowledged he could hear it , then told me there was nothing that could be done with the alignment. When I eventually replace the tires that noise had better be gone, though...

those tires SUCK, in every way! Wear them out quickly and invest on a new set of tires, that will help out a lot.

well i was having a similar problem, but only witht the rear tires and only between 62-65 mph. it was weird and annoying, so i made a few trips to the local track, and lets just say i have nittos now.

as to your porblem specifically. u said u replaced ur tires and the noise was still there? i would say check your wheels bearings and front left suspension. the reason why i say front left is b/c when u turn right most of the load transfers to the left side of the car. you also said when there is weight on the left side the noise is there.

well its not the tires. they said they will replace teh wheel bearings. i put toyo t1s tires on soem volk gtc's in 19 then teh dealer tried to tell me it was because the wheels where too wide 275 in teh rear and 245 in the front. i called him a dumb a$$ and told him to fix my car. he didnt know sh!# had to call a nissan dealer to get ideas of where it was from.

That's a weird one. I get a tire roar now, because I've lowered my coupe 1" and my front camber is way off at -1.8 and -1.9. I used to think it was wheel bearings, but it's not that. The noise came as the inners of my front Toyo T1-S' started to wear. Have you tried an alignment?
