Cooling Radiator Fan doesn't turn on! 2005 G35 Coupe
Well a couple of weeks back, my car overheated due to a clogged radiator, and as soon as I sent it off to be unclogged, I cleaned the entire cooling system by superflushing + Prestone cooling system cleaner. Then after I thought everything was over and done with, my engine began to overheat again, BUT ONLY at redlights or when parked for while with the engine idling. I searched all over and I narrowed it down to two things. 1) I either have to replace the whole Rad Fan assembly and motor; or 2) Its the fan relay. But when I replaced the jcase fuse for the rad fan, the 30A fuseholder in between the 50A fuse and the 40A fuse is missing. So my question is, is the 30A fuseholder supposed to be missing? I assume not but if not, could someone drop a link to a replacement fuse holder? I deeply appreciate any help.

Check the fusible link, especially slots "I" and "H", test all 3 cooling fan relays. With the engine at idle do you hear the fans switch from low to high speed? With the hood open visible inspect that both fans are indeed spinning.
Does your heater blow hot air?
Did you pay for a mechanic to fix this problem but they left you with a partially non-functional vehicle?

I'd go with your motors mine (06) went out last year. The motors were not spinning fast enough and had the same symptoms. I did verify it of course before swapping out parts, however, I'd go OEM or more top of the line. The replacement I got died on my a few days ago and barely lasted a year, so I'm having to do the work again.

First, I noticed when it overheated and then I watched the motors spin when they were on. They both spun slow or not at all. I had the replacement on hand and powered them with 12V and noticed a difference immediately between the "high" speed. There are also three relays you can test, since those control the speed the fan runs at.
Second time, I smelled something burning and the motors were smoking, so that was pretty easy diagnosis.
