My car is getting dangerous

the story is I’m driving like I normally do, but this time it was sprinkling. While I leave the stop light and I accelerate straight, a good 100 ft after the stop light I start to lose traction. I do my best to gain traction of the already out of control car, and I was able to get myself out of the other lane and return safely on my shoulder without a scratch on the car, but a g is much different from any other car I drifted in. My tpms light was on and I believe that is when I got the tires replaced they didn’t set it up, also my vdc off and slip light were on, there was also a service engine but I believe that was something with the cat. I want to know how do I fix my vdc off, slip and tpms light to avoid this in the future.

Fix the engine controls problem, the CEL code number will tell you most of what you need to know. Have the VDC system checked for problems, possibly something wrong with it that made it think it was slipping when it wasn't so it wrongly triggered the system and applied braking when it wasn't needed.

The G is incredibly well balanced and poised in the rain, turns slow and predictable as long as everything is working properly. You shouldn't have any problems on the track in the rain.

Not sure why you have stoplights at your local track but whatever, I'm not judging.

How are your rear tires? Old / Bald tires will spin all day in the rain even under medium throttle.

Lay off the throttle, or get new tires.

Buy a Honda Civic and learn how to drive that one prior to stepping up to big boy cars

But, every track designed for max acceleration starts off with a stop light...

On a side note, I think this emoticon needs to be added to the forum.
