In my opinion a must have, they look good and do offer a bit of protection.

I highly recommend the splash guards. They are the most tastefully designed spash guards I've ever seen on a car. They don't look like an afterthought. They match the paint perfectly.

I took mine off and sold them.

splash guards should stay on a SUV. j/k. I just didn't like them on my car as it
distorts the lines.

I agree, the best looking splash guards on the planet

A must have!!!!!

Maybe this will make you guys laugh. If not, it will definitely tell you how ignorant I was about G35's.

I didn't realize what a rear splash guard was because of how good it looked. In fact, when I first saw a pic of a G35 with the rear splash guard on it I thought, "what the sh*t! I was told my car had the AERO package! BS! I'm missing that part!!!"

I went online to EVERYTHINGG35 to order that damn body part. I looked at everything related to body/ext. and couldn't find it. I did look at splash guards, but the pic of the rear splash guard for the coupe was identical to the front guard pic! (or maybe it was for the sedan, not sure). In any event, that increased my confusion.

To make matter worse, I called my Infiniti dealership and told them that I wanted the body molding/part that is right after the rear wheels. The parts guy said "you mean the rear splash gaurd?" I replied, recalling the rear splash guard pic from EVERYTHINGG35, "NO! Not that ugly thing! The body molding that goes behind my rear wheel! It's painted the same color of my car!" To which the part guy replied, "you mean the rear splash gaurd?"

I was p*ssed! I could not beleive that Infiniti would hire someone so stupid! I told him that I'd be right over and show him what I meant. (I knew they had an 05 with the body molding I was talking about, because I showed it to my friend the night before).

So I got in my G, drove to Infiniti, asked the parts guy to follow me out on the lot to the 05 coupe. Being a complete smart*ss, I squatted down and pointed at the 'rear body molding', and said "THERE! That part! I want that part!" I thought I had him.....and then he said, "you mean the rear splash gaurd?" ARRGGHH.

Well, he had a good laugh and was a great sport. He knew I felt stupid. Hell, he even rubbed it in as he finalized the transaction and said "one rear body molding that isn't a rear splash guard is on route".

I laughed....and was able to smile as he gave me the part for a little over dealer cost.

I cannot wait to install mine! They should be arriving tomorrow or Wednesday.

haha, good story. I bought my splash guards off everythingg35, and I'm just waiting for a nice day to install mine.

I agree, IMHO I think they really make the G look a lot better.
