Windshield replacement.

Not sure if this has been posted on here or if anyone has done it. I just changed my windshield. And got all new moldings for it. and now my driver and passenger side window dont close properly. Like it closes but it just goes over the molding. Have to push the window in for it to close how it supposed to be . Has anyone had this problem before ? Is it the moldings that are not properly on the clips. Or ?

Open both doors, with the doors open push the door closed button on the cabin, it's at about the same position as where the door latch is located. Your window should drop down 1/2" with the button out and then raise back up when you push the button in.

If it's NOT doing that then you need to recalibrate both window motors because for some reason the BCM lost the programming on them. Be very careful opening/closing the door if the auto-retractor isn't working though because you can pretty easily break the glass.

Basically as soon as you open the door and the switch button is opened the glass is supposed to drop 1/2" to clear the top trim. Then when you close the door there is a momentary delay and then the window goes up that last 1/2" to seal onto the moulding behind that trim.
