Can someone take a picture of the gas fill neck with the cap removed (picture of the hole you stick the nozzle into). Any V35 coupe or sedan will work, V36 will not.

No that picture is perfect, I just wanted to make sure my fill neck wasn't supposed to have one of those little metal flappy pieces in the hole. I think I had a tank siphoned and wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything other than a damaged door flap lock.

 

Well that's a drag. Glad I could help reassure that there wasn't more damage done than you already had. Now you have to search for those "repair the latch pin" threads :-/ I think Urban had to deal with the issue.

 

Ohh my latch is 100% destroyed and I couldn't even find the missing parts lol. I'm just going to replace the entire lock actuator with a used one from eBay or the local pick-n-pull.

Can anyone confirm that the sedan and coupe use the same actuators across the whole V35 era?
