I've noticed that every time I start up my G35, shortly after i first start rolling (usually close to the first gear change from 1 to 2 {AT}) a strange sound will come from the front left of the car. There is no mechanical/physical pairing, the sound is the only symptom. No engine codes or lights on the dash. It only happens one time per drive, always after i first start moving. It sounds somewhat like a "whoosh" with a thud in the middle of it. The sound lasts about 2 seconds from start to finish.
It isn't concerning me because, like I mentioned, there are no other symptoms or problems related to the sound. However, if anyone has any ideas or previous experience with this unique sound, any help would be appreciated.

 

It's the ABS/VDC self test. Nothing to worry about.

 

Yup, ABS system doing its test. Sometimes u can even feel the brake pedal vibrate a little if u happen to have ur foot on it.
