Hello guys.

I have an update after last time, I got the ipdm and I rewired some of the wires mainly the the ones that looked super bad and the g still doesn’t run, it cranks and starts (only while on support with starting fluid) but it doesn’t seem to be getting any gas.

before, the key programmers tried to reprogram my keys, but they could not because their scanner was not able to connect to the car.

the dealer told me if I fiXed the Ipdm issue it would be a guaranteed fix but they said you might need to reprogram the keys again because they said it might of not worked properly when they programmed my key and transponder.

should I wire the rest of the wires on the ipdm, they look corroded but they are not supper bad.

I was thinking about doing what this guy did.


he replaced the bcm and he was then able to reprogram his keys, do you guys think this would work?

it’s a 2006 g35 coupe automatic

 

2006 is a bit of an oddball, the BCM communicates differently so a locksmith might not be able to program it. The dealership can definitely do it as long as they have the correct Consult-II (dealership tool) card.

 

The dealer re did the keys and programming but they said it might not be registered because the ipdm was busted would you recommend me to try to do in myself w/ datascan 2 or should I just get a ecu w/ no nats to end my issues lol, I would like to do it as cheap as possible since I already spent a lot on it and it isn’t even running yet.

 

Well for example I'm not able to program my own keys for my 2006 coupe because NDS2 cannot connect to my BCM because it doesn't use k-line to talk to the BCM, it only uses CAN. NDS2 doesn't support CAN to the BCM.

 

oh okay, how did The guy do it in the video, he had a g35 06 aswell

 

Not sure, he has a different car than me. I have a 2006 6MT without the intelligent key system, he has a 2006 5AT with the iKey.

 

oh okay, I have the key w/ the transponder that goes into the fob, I think it’s the same one as the guy in the video, would that be compatible with datascan 2?
