My only car and transmission stuck in 4th gear.

Symptoms:
After a hard run I parked the car but I'm popped out into neutral and stayed in 4th

Stick can move into any position

Car will start in 4th gear no matter where the shifter is.

When the engine is running the clutch disengages properly. I can roll the car as if it's in neutral when holding the clutch pedal down

When the engine is off I can roll the car fine in neutral

Any ideas? I can't get home and wasting money at a hotel and this is my only transportation.

I don't have much money but I do have a hydraulic jack, socket set, jack stands ready to go.

 

You may need more tools than that. The shifter control starts on page 12 of the manual for the transmission. See link below. Hopefully something came loose and you don't have anything broken. It may take time to get parts if you need any.
