i dont care what you say..knowing a lot about cars doesn't mean you read a lot about them on the internet..i'd say if you are 15 years old, you don't get any of the above cars..

Do you really feel like you deserve one of those cars? I mean, honestly, the M3 and G are very nice cars that most people have to work very hard to own. At 15, almost 16, what did you do to earn either one of those?

I would say go with the Evo8 so that you don't increase our insurance
rate.

OK hold on a second, you're fifteen years old and you're looking into getting some pretty powerful cars here. No offense to you whatsoever, you may be a very car savy individual, but I'd highly reccomend starting out with a different car and learning the ropes first before you jump into one of these. I hate to sound like you're Dad here but you honestly have no idea how important experience is.

Also, do you realize the prices you're talking about here? Not to metion insurance rates? Case in point the M3 with a base MSRP of $47,000. Your parents insurance company would have a field day on that one.

Furthermore you're talking about three very different cars. The G35 Coupe 6MT 298hp V6, the M3 with a 333hp inline 6, and then an AWD turbocharged 4 cylinder putting out close to 300 (that is if you're looking at the EVO IX).

IMHO you need to learn how to drive on a less powerful, expensive car.

You are bound to make a few mistakes learning how to drive, and those mistakes will be exasterbated by the extra power and higher repair costs.

Plus you will really learn to appreciate a car such as an M3 later on, if you start with a "normal" car.

Also, if you drive a $35,000+ car to school, it will be vandalized. Growing up, I lived in an afluent town (I drove a 1985 Toyota Camry, and loved it), and a 16 year old girl went to school there with a brand new BMW 330i...and her car was keyed all the time! Just something to think about.

I agree with what everyone esle is saying. I am 21, and I am just now getting a G35 coupe. I started out with a slow Jeep that did 0-60 in about 9 seconds, and I am still driving it today. Let me tell you, that taught me a valuable lesson about good driving. Because it handled so poorly, I could figure out it's limits and I never exceeded them. Now, with about 100k miles under my belt, I am ready and comfortable to move to a powerful RWD coupe.

You're probably ignoring this advice, but I would rather drive a slow but still nice car first. You'll have enough fun with that, and when you feel you're comfortable, upgrade.

I guarantee if you buy a honda accord you won't be able to drive it at 100%. I say get a POS, learn to drive it to the max, and upgrade

i am in almost the same situation as you. I am 16, almost 17, my parents made me wait a year so i would know how it feels not to havae a cr. My freind wes, turned 16, and had one of the first 05 G35c's. I personally think that he will never truely love his car, becasue he has never had to live w/o it. My other freind has a 325i, he is 16 also. I am about to get my car. I want a 03 or 04 g35c, or a bmw 330i or ci. I was going to get a m3 but its way too much power and price for a youngin'. My dad said he will get me one after i graduate from college and get a job. If i was you i'd get the evo. get a used one, drive it until you get tired of it, and then move up the ranks.

I personally dont like evos, they are just too fast, i dont have to be at 60mph in 5secs, i can get there in6. Besides, i dont like they looks and feel of it, too rough.

Its your choice.

I think you have to make up your own mind. If you're old enough to be deciding on a car for yourself(most young drivers get whatever their parents decide), you should be able to make grown-up decisions. Whether you are paying for it or your parents are paying for it, a car is a large investement.

Asking us to hep you decide...well, you have to understand, we bought our cars for our own reasons. But that may not be what you want. You have to ask yourself, what is it you want out of your car? What are your reasons for narrowing your choices down to these three cars? If you want more info and opinions on these cars fine, but know most of us probably don't have much experience with the M3 or Evo.

I highly agree with the majority here, you're 15, still in school, your 1st car being a high performance sports car, not a good combination. Peer pressure will force you to take the car to the limit and possibly crash, total, or kill you, someone else, or someone in your car. Just because you have your license doesn't mean you know how to control a car, read traffic, read roads, etc. Of all the kids I knew or knew of that had rich parents that bought their kids brand new high performance sports cars (about 20), only 1 of them did not total it. Not a good statistic.
As meeno said, save that money, buy a used Prelude or Integra VTEC, beef up the suspension, get good z rated tires, add some mods, learn how to drive a car, then when you graduate or after college, get your G, M, or whatever. My 2 cents.
