'Bout to give up on the G
I am so pissed....I just drove 215 miles from home and wasted my whole saturday after talking with the sales manager this morning at an acura dealer where they had a nice G35 6MT Navi traded in.....I got there and he sold the car a couple hours earlier....what an A**hole.....the sh**ty part is that I found another one 19 miles from here, but I have two vehicles that I need to trade or sell before I can buy and the dealer that's close really low-balled me on the trades....If anyone themselves or if anyone knows anybody looking for a clean car or truck in the $13-16000 range, please let me know........I can't seem to "give" these vehicles away....Im asking thousands less than retail value on both of them....01 Acura TL Navigation 47K miles, and 03 Frontier V6 5spd 31k miles...please help me before I give up on this Infiniti hunt...

was that autotrader magazine or autotrader.com? i know the two are different. if you've been unsuccessful, i would try more websites like yahoo, carsdirect, carmax, etc. i can't believe it's that difficult to sell your cars. a few years ago, i was trying to sell my old honda passport--ten year old p.o.s. that leaked oil. it was during that time when gas prices were pretty high in california. i listed my car on three different sources (yahoo, autotrader.com, and carsdirect). after about 3 months, i finally sold it for slightly low bluebook.
this is a no-brainer (and i'm sure you know this), but did you clean the car before showing the car to potential buyers. sometimes, bringing the car in for a professional detail (about $75-100) will do wonders.

actually, yes, i tried carmax...I'll give you guys the rundown on the truck....I work in autobody and have access to NADA business acount....for those who don't know, NADA is a value guide like kelly blue book...where I live, the insurance companies use NADA to determine whether a vehicle is repairable or not (a total loss). On NADA, my truck retails for $15,675, trade is like $13,000, and loan is like $11,800....I have had my truck for sale for as low as $12,800 (payoff amount) and no luck.....and Carmax offered me a cool $10,500 for it....needless to say, I laughed at them...

that sucks. don't have any more advice about selling your car, since it seems you have tried everything already. i will say this tho, be patient! i lurked for over a year on this board waiting for my lease to end so that i could get a G! it was a long wait, but worth it in my opinion!
anyway. good luck. hope it works out.
