But the sale rep at Grubbs said they made significant improvements on the 05 autos. I guess it is true. I'll test drive a few just to make sure.

Unless you are going to spend time at the track, 0-60 is meaningless, response is what is meaningful and the stick gives you better response than the auto in that you can rev it as high as you want to take advantage of the torque curve. The auto may be faster 0-60 because you just step on the gas while you have to make 2 or 3 shifts to get to 60
