Brembo stops u V fast but not really an OEM so expect noise/ vibration issues compared with the big boys.

Unless you are going to spend time at the track, 0-60 is meaningless, response is what is meaningful and the stick gives you better response than the auto in that you can rev it as high as you want to take advantage of the torque curve. Thanks for your inputs. I test drove the 03 G auto vs manual, there was a signficant difference between the two. Maybe it was psychological, since I am used to manual. But the sale rep at Grubbs said they made significant improvements on the 05 autos. I guess it is true. The Automatic in the G35 is great like that.. If you floor it, it will shift right below redline. If you are in lower RPMs, it will downshift and ride the lower gear right up to redline for you.
