On my way home from the dog park yesterday, I finally got to see a real life G35c in person! It was CB and was absolutely stunning . In a way, it is kind of crazy that it has taken me so long to actually see one, considering I live in a fairly large city (Portland, OR) and have been searching for them everytime I go out (actively looking since Feb). Well, as I was making my left turn, I gave the thumbs up, but I am not sure if the driver saw it or not. Wonder if anyone here is the owner. Well, I am definately looking forward to mine when it arrives.

I've already seen five on the road where I live, two DGs, one CB (saw it today on my way to lunch), one red, and another in white.

 

I was recently on a business trip to Northern Indiana and was telling my colleagues about my coupe. For two days we looked, city traffic and highway.....guess what? Did not see one, not even a sedan. Their out there for sure...mabey they were hibernating. Actually the weather was nice so there should have been some G's out.

Go figure... There's no less than THREE Brilliant Silver Coupes (all with Aero and graphite interior, including mine) in my area, two within 4 blocks of each other.

It's actually kind of depressing... here I'd hoped I would have a fairly unique car, at least for a while, now it seems the area is swimming with cars identical to mine - and I live in a fairly rural area. Oh well...

When I picked mine up 1 week ago, I mentioned that I hadn't seen any in my city (26,000 people), and that they are probably pretty scarce there since the nearest Infiniti dealership is 60 miles away. The sales manager said that they sold 2 others to people from my city. He told me the names, and it turns out that I had worked with one of the guys for several years, later he became my boss, and now he's in upper management. I had no ideal what he had been driving because he now gets an inside parking spot in the company garage while I still park in an outside lot. At least he didn't get the same color as me. (He got black which probably will stay clean pretty good since he parks inside.) I've gone past his office a couple of times since then to do some car talk, but he's either not there or busy talking with someone else. Pretty coincidental I thought.
