Lease prices
Just got my new G, and I love it. BUT, I feel like I might have got a raw deal. I got the coupe with all options (came to about 41k).
But then the dealer added 2k for servicing plan, bringing it to 43k + 10k for the rent charge. All in it came to $780/month for 48 months with 0 down. From what I can gather, this is really high.
My credit rating is like 780, so what's the deal? Was this just a bad deal, or is this about the range for all the options on a 48 month lease with nothing down.
Would love to hear other numbers...

My God! Leasecompare.com shows $664 for $43000 (I have to assume the 10K rent charge is some kind of mistake - even the $2k "service plan" seems like crap - when you lease they throw in service for free, they want you to take care of their car). And Infiniti beat leasecompare.com's price for me.
My car was MSRP of ~$36k and I got $423/mo for 39mos. w/ 15K miles/yr. Enjoy your G, but you might mention what dealership you were dealing with to warn other potential buyers...

$53,000 ?!?!?!
the price was high to begin with..
the service plan was unecessary...
and "rent charge"... well I don't even know what the fawk that is...
It's obvious that they knew you'd paid whatever...you didn't disappoint them. Contact them and tell them that unless the situation gets resolved you'll contact your states Attorney General - Fraud/Consumer Protection Division.

I assure you, this is real. As for the rent charge, it is an itemized amount listed on the signature lease form for all infinitis in california (probably in other states as well).
I would love to hear what other have in that box (it's item "f" in the lease agreement).
Just to be clear, the base monthly amount is 722, but with taxes, it comes to 781.
I realize now that I got hosed, but I'm not sure there is anything i can do about it at this point. I certainely don't want to return the car (not that it is even an option after signing the paperwork). Are there any other options??

What is a rent charge? Regardless, do you really think it should run 10K? Trust me, providing this post is legit (which I'm not convinced it is) this is something that the Attorney General will gladly deal with.
so? he signed a piece of paper saying he agreed to everything that was on it. because according to your train of thought that signature essentially means nothing.

What you can do is can SUE, you are paying 37,480, at the end of your lease, you do realize that thats insane, you should pay no more than 60% of total MSRP when you lease. They are plain stealing from you I would contact infinti corportation, start a fight, thats alot of wasted money, esshhh you could of bought it for that price
